The association " Mach2.2 " is the only French association of radio-controlled small-scale models of jet. It account 250 members on France and Europe. These enthusiasts of aeromodelling and more particularly jets met this weekend to Saint-Yan, on their official ground of evolution which, being centered well, allowed the members of all France to come and more particularly to the committee which is connected with it, IJMC France. IJMC France is an autonomous committee, Mach2.2 being only a tie administrative and allowing to put of the equipment in common. The difference ? Mach2.2 is made for the amateurs who make it a leisure and the IJMC-France for the competitors.

The association organizes more than thirty meetings on whole France and there are more and more requests on military bases. It participates in important meetings and by constantly rubbing shoulders with the patrol of France, they have the chance to get to knox them. It organizes every two years a trophy, competition opened to the largest number of people.

What IJMC France (International Jet Model Committee), Jean-Pierre Fillon, his president, explain it to us: the purpose is to prepare the French team for the Jet World Master which takes place every two years. In 2015, it will take place in Germany, to Leutkirch-im-Allgaü, from 23 till 29 August.

The participants came from Bouches-du-Rhône, of the Haute-Garonne, Normandy, the Gers, the Moselle, the Haut-Rhin and even Luxemburg friends made the trip!

The members are from 30 to 60 years old ; fascinated by all which flies, they sometimes made their profession. They become specialists of a specific type of aircraft by working on their models.

For the World championship, it is necessary to choose six aerobatic manoeuvres to be made by the jets which are in six proposed groups and which correspond best to the models which he present. This year, five pilots are going to participate in this championship. Every nation is entitled to a maximum of six competitors.
